The Nash County Arts Council provides arts education through classes led by local and regional artists for all ages and summer camps for children and youth.

Our Minor Concert Series produces a minimum of ten concerts annually, with priority given to showcasing local and regional artists and groups.

Our Nashville Showcase Series features nationally acclaimed artists. Artists presented through this series in recent years include Andy Griggs, BJ Barham, Dale Watson, Doug Stone, Drivin N Cryin, EmiSunshine, Jim Lauderdale, Marcus Anderson, Marty Brown, Pam Tillis, Suzy Bogguss, T. Graham Brown, The Malpass Brothers, Tennessee Bluegrass Band, Terry McBride and comedian, Shelly Belly. This series is sponsored by the Nash County Tourism Development Authority.

Our Play Series produces an annual version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, adapted by local playwrights, making cast opportunities for children and youth a priority. This production is always held the first full weekend in December. Pending material, priority for the remainder of this series is given to local playwrights.

Our Visual Arts Series hosts exhibits featuring local and regional artists, presenting a variety of mediums, a few times annually and an “Art-venturous” arts & crafts vendor event a few times annually.
